Carpenter fixing new ceiling in dining hall
Thanks to the generous grant of £4,000 from Sir Wm and Lady Leech Charities, work is now underway to complete the renovation of the old classrooms so that at last the children at KJCH can have a dining hall and sick bay. Tiling of the floors is almost complete and the wood and plastic T & G sheets for the ceilings have been purchased. The carpenter will begin fitting them soon. Windows and doors have been fitted. Electric wiring needs to be completed then we can buy fans, switches etc. Without the grant it could have been years before enough money could have been accumulated to pay for all this work. We are looking forward to the final result and will post picture on the website when it’s finished.
