On 8 February 2025, we hosted a very successful and inspiring musical evening at St Francis’ Church in High Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. Eclectic-Lite Trio (David on keyboard, Julia on violin and Bill on saxophone), together with Jonathan Worthy, amazing baritone singer, entertained us with a wide selection of light classical music and songs from popular musicals. Light refreshments were served in the interval and our raffle was drawn – a huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes. Many, many thanks to the musicians for a wonderful event, and to Jackie from St Francis’ Church for suggesting the event, liaising with the musicians and setting up the hall. We are delight to let you know that the event made a profit of £750.50, all of which will be used to support the orphaned and destitute children at King Jesus Charity Home in Kumasi, Ghana. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the event – your support is amazing’!
