GCT has received a cheque for £2,023.18 from Gosforth Park School. The money has been raised over the past year by staff, pupils and parents at the school and is a tremendous effort and will be of enormous benefit to the children in Ghana. In addition they pupils have donated huge quantities of clothes, shoes, books and toys to be shipped to King Jesus Charity Home in Kumasi, Ghana. This is a fantastic effort by the school. Many of the fundraising ideas came from the children themselves and they have also been learning all about life in Ghana. On returning from Ghana recently, our trustee Jean Edusei brought a Citation of Honour for Gosforth Park First School, donated by King Jesus Charity Home, to be proudly displayed in the school.
