Thanks to the skills and generosity of 2 of our supporters, the younger girls at King Jesus Charity Home now have a selection of beautifully sewn dresses, some of which are expertly modelled by the director’s granddaughters Quindy, Wilhelmina, Andrea and Tracey in these photos. Linda and Lorna created the dresses from material left over from other projects, including some Ghanaian material, and duvet covers donated by friends or obtained from charity shops. They are perfectly embellished with buttons, braid and ribbon to make them every little girl’s dream. In recent years, Linda also taught herself to knit and has produced beautiful baby cardigans and hats for the Maternity Department at Kumasi South Hospital. Thank you ladies and keep up the good work.
