During her recent visit to Ghana, trustee Jean Edusei arranged for the floors in 4 large dormitories at KJCH, which are used by the boys, to be tiled. Formerly the floor were concrete which was broken and dusty. Not all the boys have bunk beds so they sleep on mattresses on the floor and every morning they were covered in concrete dust. Now the rooms are bright and clean and provide a much healthier environment for the boys to sleep in. Esther, the administrator, was delighted that her small office was also tiled, providing a much pleasanter and cleaner working environment for her. The total cost of the work was approximately £1,300.
