New Roof Completed!

We have some great news!  The orphanage building now has a roof.  However, this is just the start of the work.  Years of being left at the mercy of the elements has damaged walls and ceilings.  We need to repair these quickly to make sure that the rooms are habitable.  One end of the upper storey is incomplete and needs windows, doors, plastering, tiling, electrics and painting, all to be done when funds become available. Roof under construction

During their recent visit to Ghana, trustees Jean and Nana Edusei oversaw the start of work on the new roof at King Jesus Charity Home. Unfortunately a supporter who had promised to pay for preparatory work on the walls prior to roofing has been unable to do so, leaving us short of approximately £3,000.
